Buyer setup guide

Everything shown in these templates — the salon name, phone, address, hours, prices and team — is sample content. Follow these steps to make the site yours.

  1. Step 1

    Pick your design

Browse the 10 templates on the gallery page and choose the one you want to publish. Every design uses the same shared details, so you only fill them in once.
  2. Step 2

    Add your business details

Open the shared content file (src/templates/content.ts) and replace the sample details: salon name, tagline, city and state, address, phone number, hours, services and prices, team bios, reviews and photos. In Lovable you can simply ask: “Change the salon name to … and the phone to …”.
  3. Step 3

    Review your policies

In the same file, update the walk-in, consultation fee, no-call/no-show and terms text in bookingInfo so it matches how your salon works.
  4. Step 4

    Set your booking link

Set primaryCtaUrl and booking to your online booking page (Square, Vagaro, Booksy, GlossGenius, etc.). This link is used by the “Book Now” button on the phone call/book bar.
  5. Step 5

Booking request form (works out of the box)

The main “Book Now” button opens a request form (name, phone, email, service, preferred date and time, notes). Every request is saved to your site’s database automatically, so you can see requests in Lovable under Cloud → Database → service_requests.
  6. Step 6

    Turn on email alerts (optional)

    1. Create a free account at resend.com and verify a sending domain you own.
    2. In Lovable, ask: “Connect Resend for booking request emails.” and approve the connect card.
    3. Ask Lovable to save a secret named BUSINESS_EMAIL with the address that should receive new requests.
    4. Send a test request from your site — you’ll get “New request: Book Now for [your salon]”.
  7. Step 7

    Publish

Click Publish in Lovable, then connect your own domain under Project Settings → Domains.
  8. Step 8

    Purchase and project transfer

The 10-pack of website templates is $997. The first 25 buyers also get free done-for-you setup of one design. Review the seller’s purchase terms before paying. M&M Jones Web Studios (joneswebdesigns) arranges the Lovable project transfer after payment is confirmed. Project delivery is within 2 business days after confirmed payment and receipt of your valid Lovable account email. You must accept the transfer; it is not an automatic download.
  9. Step 9

    5-minute backend setup (after transfer)

    1. Open the transferred project in Lovable and turn on Lovable Cloud if asked (1 min).
    2. Ask Lovable: “Run the buyer backend setup from DEPLOY.md.” This creates the booking request table and its security rules in one step (1 min).
    3. Ask Lovable to update your salon details in the shared content file (2 min).
    4. Optional: connect Resend and save BUSINESS_EMAIL for email alerts.
    5. Click Publish (1 min).
  10. Step 10

    Done-for-you setup (first 25 buyers)

After your transfer, send us: your chosen design, salon name, address, phone, email, hours, services and prices, booking link, team bios, and up to 12 photos. We set up your design and request form with one round of revisions. Send your details when you are ready; there is no submission deadline. Setup scheduling is coordinated separately after complete details are received and is distinct from the 2-business-day project delivery commitment.
  11. Step 11

    Legal checklist before you launch

    • Replace every sample name, phone, address, review and team bio. Sample reviews must not be published as real.
    • Add your own privacy notice, because the request form collects names, phones and emails.
    • Rewrite the booking, no-show and consultation policies to match your salon and local law.
    • Use only photos you have rights to. The included photos are licensed for these websites only.
    • Your license covers your own business or client sites; reselling the templates as a pack is not allowed.
    • Obtain permission for customer photos and appropriate parent or guardian consent for identifiable children.
    • Review accessibility, cookie and marketing consent requirements, and protect access to customer information.
    • Third-party subscriptions, domains and ongoing maintenance are not included. Mandatory consumer rights are preserved in the purchase terms.
